Super Sukhoi is an outlook for Indian Air Force ultra-advanced 4.5 Generation Multirole Aircraft which aims at upgrading the present Flankers in IAF
The new Super Sukhoi would be powered by AL-41F-1S Turbofan Engine featuring 3-Dimensional Thrust Vectors and Digital Integrated Control. It is currently used to power the Su-35 Multirole Fighters , the most advanced version of Flanker Family. It gives a thrust of 14,500 kgf and features 10% lesser fuel consumption than its predecessors.

Su-30MKI will be equipped with a X-Band Active Electronically Scanned Array Radar which is developed by JSC V Tikhomirov Scientific Research Institute of Instrument Design and is a variant of the earlier NO-11M Bars Radar earlier used by Indian Flankers. It will feature more peak power , higher jam-resistant features , Low Probability Intercept and higher detection means over greater ranges.

Super Sukhoi will also feature the 101KS-V Infrared Search and Track System which is an anti-stealth measure to target stealth aircrafts by detecting heat emissions from those aircrafts and also features the new Quantum Well Imaging Photodetectors to operate in much wider spectral bandwidths.

Super Sukhoi will also be armed with DRDO-DARE developed Dual Color Missile Approaching Warning System , which was earlier lacking in Su-30MKI , and is designed to provide missile approach warning by using audio-video. It utilizes Dual Color Principle for lower False Alarm rates giving Time to Impact Information as well as a solution to counter the threat. Super Sukhoi will have a new advanced Dhruti Radar Warning Receiver , which can detect radar signals , and can give audio warning to the pilot regarding it.

Super Sukhoi will have a new wide range of avionics integrated by an Advanced Mission Computer , as it integrates Navigation , Display and Weapon Release Computers , featuring low power-high performance. Super Sukhoi will also feature a DARE High Band Jammer , replacing the older SAP-518 pods , along with the new DRDO SIVA targeting pod.

Super Sukhoi Cockpit will consist of SAMTEL-HAL Display Systems featuring Panoramic Cockpit Displays ( AMLCD ) for greater situational awareness for the pilot and co-pilot. Simulators will also be available for Super Sukhoi where pilots can be readily trained in practical operations.

Super Sukhoi will feature Chemring Countermeasures featuring Chaff Cartridges unlike the previous Flares utilized by Indian Flankers. These can multiply Su-30MKI capability to counter threats like Air-to-Air Missile and Surface-to-Air Missiles more effectively.

Super Sukhoi will also feature a BNET Tactical Software Defined Radio Sets for sustainable data link between the other Flankers and as a communication means. The Flanker can easily share and cue data with Phalcon AWACS and other IAF assets in the air , increasing the Flanker’s situational awareness manifold.

Super Sukhoi will also feature Terrain Hugging as it can fly quite close to the ground , to evade detection , employing its AESA Radar. At the end , Super Sukhoi would be far superior to any 4.5 or 4++ Generation Fighter Aircrafts in possession with its immediate neighbors like China or Pakistan. Super Sukhoi would be a multi-faceted stride in Indian Air Force Air Dominance Plans , which it can count upon to win future wars , against its immediate neighbors in any Aerial Battles , adding further punch to IAF.
