The curtiss helldiver was a dive bomber designed for the us navy. It could dive at high speeds and drop 500lb and 1000lb bombs. They were responsible for taking out japanese aircraft carriers such as the soryu and hiryu. They were nown for being hard to control, earning the nickname beast and son-of-a-b**** second class(yes i know it has a swear word in it but thats what i've known it as) -Regular controls
