Artillery Contest
In Greek mythology, the god of war is Ares. His mortal form is artillery. Although the infantryman is still the most important force on the battlefield, artillery comes second. The ability to launch projectiles at the enemy farther than an infantryman can has always been important. From the earliest siege engines to modern 155mm howitzers, artillery has been a powerful force to be reckoned with. Now is your chance to build such a weapon. The piece does not necessarily need to be functional. To enter, upvote this post. To submit an entrant, make a successor of this weapon. Weapons will be judged by its performance in its intended role (can be written in the descripton), mobility, and accuracy, compiled in a report. One entry per person.

@Pilotmario can I join the contest?
Any reports soon?
Whe will you start writing the reports? @Pilotmario
Artillery??? Well then I guess the Death Star will be my next build
Nice. @Scottydoesthings
I'll attempt
Deadline?
Whatever can be considered artillery. @YuukaSP
Alrighty, then. I'll do this challenge
I don't think it matters..... @YuukaSP
And wait, does it have to be a solid/explosive projectile? Or can it be direct energy/radiant/particle beam? Probably not, because that would mean no projectile path curvature.
I know traditionally, artillery is ground warfare only... but can it be in space? Or ridiculously fictional or something?
It is almost done..@Pilotmario
@PINK nice. Build it.
@PINK @Pilotmario cool
Okay-Dis ting gonna have a rapid firing 122mm coil gun. (1 round every 3 seconds) @Pilotmario
@TehNewDucky Nope.
@PINK It can be mobile.
@TemDesBur Yes.
@PINK SPAAG stands for Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun. Very much an artillery piece.
I am going down that line....with a 30,000 lbs, eight wheeled truck.........IT IS HUGE!!!!! @TemDesBur
