The Rutan Model 202 Boomerang is an aircraft designed and built by Burt Rutan. The design was intended to be a multi-engine aircraft that would not become dangerously difficult to control in the event of failure of a single engine. The result is an asymmetrical aircraft with a very distinct appearance.
This is my second try at this unusual craft. Takeoff is a bit tricky, as the main engine spins up faster causing the plane to pull left at first. Some practice with the Yaw and you'll be able to take off at around 170 mph by gently pulling back on the stick. Landing is still damn near impossible to do smoothly, but oh well. Simply start in the air for a smooth experience.
