Auto Credit Based on UPTOSPACE345's Junkers JU-87 Stuka (finalized)
Following costly losses in the pacific theatre, the United States began developing a new, experimental dive bomber based off captured German examples. The end result of this was the Chance-Vought TBF-87 Steward, also known as the "American Stuka." Aside from this purpose, the TBF-87 had another reason for development: to serve as an answer to thr newly reported German wunderwaffen, known as the "German Corsair."
