A multirole strike jet operated by the Paternian Air Force in order to supplant the stealthier Renegade II. The Renegade II, while an excellent fighter, proved incapable as an attack aircraft due to its limited payload. As a result, it was decided to procure a stealthier attack aircraft. To this end, the Bandit Cobra was chosen for modification. In addition to radar and IR-absorbent paint, it was provided with the highly advanced Destructive Interference Emitter, or DIE. It is designed to produce counter-radar waves in order to generate either constructive or destructive interference to the radar signal. High constructive interference will make the aircraft signature so large that it will be extremely difficult to attain any sort of lock. High destructive interference will cancel out the radar waves entirely, rendering it invisible to radar. When entering airspace, the exhaust is injected with cool air in order to reduce IR signature. Contrails are disrupted through the use of cesium, and activate automatically when sensors detect the conditions where contrails form. It is fitted with an advanced passive bombsight, enabling high precision.

@GoldenEagle Yep.
It will forever be known as the Phosgene Jet for its role in gassing Jakarta.
We have no regrets.
@Pilotmario a great plane with a great and successful history!
@GoldenEagle This jet is famous, for all the wrong reasons, but not how you think it is.
The Silent Cobra was the primary warplane employed during the Jakarta Phosgene Raid, where Silent Cobras in mid-altitude strikes deployed conventional, incendiary, and most notably, phosgene munitions. Due to the surprise nature of the raid, few aircraft were brought down, and most of them returned safely to their bases in New Zealand.
While the bombs and incendiaries did quite some damage, Jakarta police's bomb defusal unit and the fire department was able to control the blazes rather easily. However, they mistook some of the phosgene bombs as duds, and didn't conduct any sort of chemical warfare protection measures when disposing of said spent munitions. This was compounded by the fact the symptoms of phosgene gas poisoning are not particularly noticeable, and the gas is not odorous. Orders were to scatter said bombs in well-populated areas and across the city.
The further spread of phosgene was compounded by the light breezes winds and the laser defense system, which detonated many of the bombs above the buildings, allowing the gas to linger among higher-stories that would have otherwise been safe. In addition, the ventilation systems on many buildings allowed the gas to spread easily. They believed that given the relatively small physical damage done and the amount of "duds", as well as government media proclaiming victory, the people did not think twice about the possibility of poison gas.
However, by the next day, the local hospitals were overwhelmed by the sheer number of untreated cases of phosgene gas poisoning. Approximately half of the city was affected. Mass evacuations were stalled due to rumors that it was a biological agent, an incorrect assessment made by some doctors. More people were exposed, and the damage continued to be dealt.
Eventually, they were able to determine that the agent was phosgene, and ordered mass evacuations of the city. A huge chemical warfare cleanup effort was conducted, and within a few weeks, the phosgene was gone. By then, over 1 million people in the city were killed, and millions more affected.
It was due to this raid, and the only time the Paternian Armed Forces have deployed chemcial weapons in warfare, did we sign an agreement with the Persians and the Awwamese that chemical weapons shall no longer be employed, and that existing stocks should be destroyed, supervised by officers from the other side.
And this
@Pilotmario I have done a few dogfights.
@Mudkip Yes indeed. It seems you never played an air combat game, or know anything of air combat, in your life.
Speed is the determining factor of who wins an air battle. Maneuverability is a nice bonus.
@Pilotmario My statement was false.
@Mudkip Then why did the Zero lose against the Corsair?
@Pilotmario Speed does not matter. Your fighters are a fail because they go hypersonic. My fighters could just kill them. Maneuverability is more important.
@Supermini555 Well, on our newest F-9A, we threw "balance" out the window and decided to have both.
Not necessarily @Pilotmario [Referring to Maneuverbility Vs Speed]
A good balance of both can really change the tide of air supremacy!
@Pilotmario :O And you're 33.3k Points!
@Pilotmario hehe yup. 20k points more to go lol
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation It's gonna be a long way till platinum.
@Pilotmario Thanks! :D
Gj on gold! @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
@exosuit yup
Ayyy you're gold!@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation We find maneuverability less useful than speed. So we emphasize the latter in exchange for the former.
Also, you should probably invest in modded engines.
@Pilotmario Well we do have a balance of speed + maneuverability
First, this is the variant with bombs loaded. It cannot maneuver as easily. Second, the dogfight AI in SP always tried for a turnfight. My fighters would lose in a turnfight. But are better than your types due to the good stability at speed that allows for high-speed dives. @exosuit
Maneuverability is less important than speed in air combat. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
Ok so i downloaded this plane and test this plane 5 times. First attempt: you win that lucky shot. Second attempt: you crashed into the mountain. Thirs attempt: you explode. Fourth attempt: you crashed into the ocean. Fifth attempt: destroyed with ma' rockets.
Basically Dive Bombing Other Fighters... Regardless, Awwam's planes can climb to insane heights, particularly the laser propelled ones since they don't require oxygen to burn it! @Pilotmario
@Pilotmario Regardless. Our Pilots are trained. and they can out-maneuver a majority of your aircraft. considering the fact that we have the Most Agile aircraft. I honestly doubt your power. its weak
@Pilotmario Wow. sooooooooooooo "OP"! no. its not OP. this makes perfect sense. anyways our planes are fast.
