Development History
In 1966,an upgraded variant of the STB3A was introduced, featuring a new 125mm Smoothbore as well as a higher engine power(1100hp),the tank was set to be a new variant of the STB3.
The final design was unveiled in 1968. It has a new rangefinder as well as additional smokes and added side armour to increase its survivability. Additional fuel tanks was also added on the rear part of the tank.
