V1 Bomb (Replica)

48.8k Baldovino  8.9 years ago

Nothing much to say... it's a V1. Hard and dangerous to fly. The model contain a big, big bomb, and when hit something, it's really funny. Better if is a bridge... ;)

@Baldovino just uploaded a bomb. Flies weird, heavily modified, but nevertheless it's pretty good for my newbie skills

@Baldovino using a light bomb has really wonky flight controls

@Baldovino Maybe, but my bomb keeps exploding on takeoff. I prefer doing takeoff, since it feels cooler.

@PseudoSudo Wich bomb do you used? I used the biggest one. Maybe we can do an attempt with the smallest bomb, less bulky and lighter... what you think?

@Baldovino I chose the dimensional version. It didn't end well. Not even the CPU could control it.

@PseudoSudo I tried some other dimentional variation, but I chosed a flying solution. :(

@Spikerya And yes, the buzzing was the rapidly- igniting plug. Basically, the buzzing you hear was actually mini- explosions, occurring 55 times per second.

I attempted a V-1 a couple days ago. Not sure if you tried it out, but to say the best of it, it was pretty bad. Nice job on this one, although the dimensions on this one seem to be a bit weird, I suggest lengthening the fuselage on it, but other than that, very nice flight performance compared to mine.

@Spikerya Argus As 014. Pulse at 55 times per second. The "pulse" is actually the spark ignition going off 55 times per second, and that ignites the gas in the chamber, thereby pushing the bomb forward.

@XVIindustries didnt it pulse 50 times per second or something? to make the buzzing noise?
