Su-57 fighter (Design Code: i-21 / T-50) is a single seat dual engine stealth multi-functional heavy fighter of the Russian air force. It is the fifth generation of Russian fighter (called the fourth generation fighter in western countries).
Su-57 fighter has a maximum take-off weight of 35000 kg, supersonic cruise speed of 1450 km / h, maximum speed of 2140-2600 km / h, combat radius of 1200 km, combat load of 6 tons, and built-in four weapon pods, which can achieve a good combination of flight performance and stealth performance, and has the ability of air combat and ground attack. It has the characteristics of good stealth performance, short takeoff and landing distance, super maneuverability and supersonic cruise.
The su-57 fighter was developed by Russian "Pak" The "Fa" plan developed from the former T-50 fighter, which first flew on January 29, 2010; from 2010 to the autumn of 2015, five T-50 prototypes completed 700 flight tests, among which many prototypes experienced long-term maintenance; on August 11, 2017, it was officially named su-57; Russia plans to replace Su-27 fighter with this fighter to compete with the US F-22 fighter.
