I haven't seen any minelayers on SimlePlanes. I'm not fully convinced they exist. But I've built one. This is the LordofLego Army CTF.2 Minelayer. VTOL down to raise the body of the tank, yaw to steer, 1 to fire the PlanesOfOld missile, and 2-4 to lay mines. Pitch down to sort of "detonate" them. They're air brakes, so they dont explode unless you fire them at the ground at 10% power. I reccomend lifting the tank up a little bit when firing. Do not have the tank all the way up while turning.

That moment when you drop all mines and lay down on it that feels like you're hatching eggs😂

@swat132 This might not be what you are trying to do, but it should help a little.

@Kevpilot Yeah, sorry. I don't know how to make them explode. I tried RCNs at first, cause they'd look more realistic, but they just shot through the ground. You can turn up the force on the detatchers and pretend you ran over a mine, because they explode at 10% and any higher they blow up the entire tank. There are no legitimate explosive pieces (yet?), so I just had to work with what I had. You could replace the brakes with 0.5L nose cones and at least it would be bumpy!
