Marineon ZX-5 Bubble
For this challenge a couple days ago I make an aircraft called the ZX-4 Needle, after I posed it I decided to compare it to actual WW1 aircraft to see how well it compared, I ended up disappointing myself. What I created did not look like a WW1 aircraft, it looked like a P-400 converted into a Biplane, so I redesigned it to make up for it. Introducing the Marineon ZX-5 Bubble, I took my previous plane the ZX-4 Needle and remodeled it. Here is what I updated: I shortened and rounded the nose hence the name “Bubble” I also shortened the upper wing a little bit, I rounded the fuselage more, I make the front wheels skinnier and taller, I rounded off the back of the machine guns making them look less boxy and I also put a ammo belt on them, I modified the vertical stabilizers making them look more like the ones planes commonly had at the time, I spaced out the wing supports more, and I also added the Marineon logo to the side of the fuselage. Performance Changes: The plane now performs a little better than what it did before, it feels faster getting up to speed and it turns much more aggressive, and gains altitude much faster as well. Problems: With the much more aggressive altitude increase also comes a higher risk of stalling, so try not to take off too aggressive, a second warnging sill be with takeoff itself, for some reason it pulls to the right a little on the runway after discovering this I mirrored it and it didn’t fix anything. This aircraft still has the 2 machine guns, High fuel Capacity, and short takeoff distance. Enjoy my new and inproved Marineon Fighter plane!
