The Tingyun, project name of Lyra Type 1011 is a low-observable supersonic delta-winged fighter-interceptor. The current build shows the Tingyun-7 / 1011-7 production aircraft.

The Surasthanian air force is tired meddling and using the about 60-or-more year old Lyra 735-types (this was a Durin/Kriedeprinz build, if the older-old a.k.a. pre-Carmen Dei system is still used) and started calls for a single-engined and twin-engined fighter that can carry Type 89/105 BVRAAMs as main armament.

Of course, some firm thought of the AP-11 design (then Radiodont Dynamics) and started out with the conventional wing planform and a bubble canopy that started up until the third update which is now Tingyun-1 through -5. Contemporary designs were the 1012 and the 1017 (a 735- development).

Flight characteristics were, err, typical for the 21st century. First it uses adaptive cycle turbojet engines thst adjust power per altitude especially with its reheat. It can house 4-8 missiles and a powerful radar, making it a probable 'point-and-click gameplay' fighter-interceptor. However, it is not like the Rapier of MiG-25 that it was supposer to be, it's maximum speed is just a mere Mach 2.5+ at high altitudes and canot carry too much ordinance due to its design.

Tingyun-5 / 1011-5 — tailless delta, bubble canopy
Tingyun-7 / 1011-7 — tailless delta, minor redesign and updated canopy (shown)
"Fugue" / 1011-9 — production aircraft based on the -3 and -5; cancelled
"Fugue" / 1011-11 — production aircraft based on -7.
"Fugue" / 1011-13 — production aircraft based on -7. Two hardpoints for LO ordinances, practical use of "StealthPak" conformal fuel/weapon storage.
