Description

My first Convoy Catcher, which I made over a year ago, was very successful, and now, with the new updates, I decided to make an even better one, which fixed some of the issues with the old one, and just had a few quality-of-life improvements, like truck flippers on either side, not just the right side, and some funky trees. It also has a winch on the front and on the back of the main truck, for yanking convoy trucks around, or dragging them somewhere.

Controls

AG 1 | Activate the magnet/magnets in the following equipment based on what is activated:
- Front Winch
- Rear Winch
- Front Flippers
- Left Flippers
- Right Flippers
AG 2 | Truck Gyroscope
AG 3 | Truck Convoy Lift Magnets
AG 4 | Trailer Gyroscope
AG 5 | Trailer Convoy Lift Magnets
AG 6 | Change what VTOL controls, off is truck convoy lift winches, on is trailer convoy lift winches. 6 also allows for trim to control the extension of the trailer convoy lift.

Trim | Controls the following winches, pistons, or flipper rotators in the following equipment based on what is activated:
- Front Winch
- Rear Winch
- Front Flippers
- Left Flippers
- Right Flippers
- Truck Convoy Lift (piston)
- Trailer Convoy Lift (piston)

How to Use

These instructions are to get three trucks loaded up, transport them, and unload them.

1. Connect the trailer. Refer to GIF 8.
2. Drive close to the convoy. Detach the trailer. I recommend to not close the trailer bolt, as this disables/enables the trailer's lights.
3. Disable a truck. I recommend the front flippers, however the side ones can also be used. Flip the truck on its side or back to disable it, so it can't drive. Refer to GIF 6.
4. Flip it back upright. Refer to GIF 6.
5. Drive in front of the upright and disabled truck. Click the button on top of the cab to enable the truck's convoy lift, and use trim to extend it. Maneuver the truck so the convoy lift can drop down and pick up the truck. Refer to GIF 7. Use AG 3 to activate the magnets, and use VTOL to raise/lower the convoy lift. Before loading, activate the support legs. Refer to GIF 4. This is so the convoy catcher doesn't rotate back.
6. Drive in front of the trailer. You could connect to the trailer, and drive forwards, so the trailer is straight.
7. Open both gates in the trailer by clicking buttons.
8. Extend the truck's convoy lift fully. Deactivate 3. Retract the convoy lift and deactivate it.
9. AG 6 activates the trailer's convoy lift. Use Trim to extend it so it is above the convoy truck. AG 5 activates the magnets. Retract the trailer's convoy lift so the truck is at the back. Close both gates and deactivate 6 and 5.
10. Repeat steps 3-6.
11. Open the trailer's front gate. Repeat step 8. Either drive forward to get the convoy truck in the trailer, or use the trailer's convoy lift to move it back a bit.
12. Close the front gate. The trailer is now fully loaded. Repeat steps 3-6 again, but just connect the trailer.
13. Drive to the destination.
14. Refer to some of the GIFs below, and unload the truck, and then the trailer.
