Airbus was tasked with building an aeroplane that could fit most of France’s rural hangars and still carry a satisfactory load throughout France and its territories. Airbus came up with this; a plane with a nose gate and folding wings. However, due to unrealistically complex wing structure, the plane suffered many setbacks and crashes. The task was then passed on to BAe. All documents were destroyed by both companies. (1976-92)
