A Finnish aircraft devloped from the knowledge before the Winter War with Russia, though the design process would take a long time becuase of problems with the duraluminium wings, the engine was switched from the Bristol Taurus III engine to the Pratt and Whitney R-1830, though production started before the production of the German Bf-109, though only 51 fighters were built during its production periods (1941-1947)
