Auto Credit Based on TheAceOwl's Ho-288-C
A new stealth attacker for the special forces. This plane is designed to have a minimal cross section to make it harder to detect on radar. Its primary role is to take out radar installations and quick strikes. 1-3 fire the missiles and 4-5 drop the bombs. 6 drops the racks. Be careful with this plane, I would HIGHLY suggest using a joystick or controller. Enjoy!

Ah! The old darts that predate missiles and such on SimplePlanes! XD I couldn't get this one to take-off without it pulling to the left for some reason. I tried taking it from Bandit final approach but that wasn't enough altitude to get forward momentum so I went to Yeager Final approach and found that it worked from there. I got the sense that I was kinda flying sideways until I dumped my munitions on Yeager Air Base then it settled down ... a little. I tried making a flying wing too but gave up and gave her tail surfaces with a lot of dihedral. XD You are right about one thing, flying this without a controller IS difficult but this laptop has only 2 USB ports and I use both just with my KB and Mouse. lol I -almost- managed to land her at Yeager but then her wingtip suddenly plunged on me and I did the whole hair-and-eyeballs thing down the runway. ("All that was left of him was hair and eyeballs!")
Flying wings are easy to make if you know what you are are doing, It is just a matter of engine placement
@Acer500 Its way better than the first version. Those small fins save the design.
@TheOwlAce Yeah, I know what you mean. I tried to make a flying wing a while back too. It's tough. I'll have to give this design another spin when I get a joystick.
@Acer500 Ok, first off, this is likely a very rare bird, with this kind of steering barely understood. It doesnt fly well with mouse and key board. But what do you want?? it is a FLYING WING, how many of those do you ever see? It flies like a dream when you have a joy-stick. I use a logitech Extreme 3D pro.
I really like the look of this craft, and the projectiles are fun. Its performance could use some improvement though. Maybe switch to under-wing wheels and move them farther out so it's less tippy on the tarmac. While innovative, your use of air brakes for yaw-control leaves much to be desired. Maybe increase the size of the vertical stabilizers and put yaw control on them.
Funny you should mention controllers in your description. I've been meaning to get a controller for a while now. What kind would you recommend?
What do you guys think?
