Simple Attack Chopper MK-V... Final Model

1,860 MDippold1995  6.2 years ago
Auto Credit Based on MDippold1995's simple attack chopper

The last of this model, let's get into it... Controls: VTOL SLIDER will be your collective pitch for all 8 blades. The TRIM SLIDER will lean your acft forward or backwards and lock it in that position, think of it as cruise control. the RIGHT STICK will act as your cyclic stick producing both roll and pitch response as to help mimic the movements of a swashplate and enable you turn with relative ease, ( !Notice! when turning start by rolling first then bring the stick to either the 7 or 5 o clock position respectively and ensure that movements are not sharp). YAW will still act as yaw, yaw will be utilized while turning to help keep the acft on track and avoid spinouts aswell as get you out of them, Example 1: turning- when turning place the yaw in the same direction as you have the cyclic stick, once the turn is being completed snap the yaw to the opposite side to stop any spinning... Example 2: spinout- level the helicopter using the trim slider and yaw in the opposite direction. ENGINE POWER provides you with faster spinning blades to better increase total thrust. TAXI THE ACFT- Forward Taxi: place the Vtol slider on the 1/4 notch and increase power as desired, yaw will turn. Reverse Taxi: Place the Vtol notch on the 3/4 notch and increase engine power (do not exceed 40%). MOVING TURRET: reach a stable hover and turn off AG8 and then proceed to turn on AG5, right cyclic stick controls the gun, the gun has 2 cameras for a better view on target. END of Instructions... I hope you enjoy the Aircraft, it may take time to become proficient with the controls but it is worth it. Please feel free to leave a comment and upvote if you enjoy. A special thanks to ZYVX for his help through the development of this model, check out his profile and all of his great infinite designs

@Zyvx sorry for the late reply but I dont get much time to play my games over in Afghani land. I appreciate all the support and hope that you continue to enjoy what I create. I'm hoping to make a CH-47 next as it's the aircraft I work on. Only time will tell if that will become a reality though, I cant just make any old 47, its gotta look superb, only problem... I stuck at making acft look good in this game

@Tully2001 cant read. Dippold explained the instructions to me in person, verbally so I understand now. In Afghanistan. In our room. And at work. Maybe even when we were using the restroom and showering but that's for us to know.

This is great work, especially considering how quick you learned to make a chopper fly. Fact is this game does not give you chopper parts and we have to make them. You did good. I think you will be able to overcome any obstacles that get in your way. And your positive attitude will get you far in the game. Definitely keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing what you make next. Also thank you for acknowledging me in the description. I am happy to help anytime you ask.

@bcook333 I'm sorry to hear that. Im not entirely sure what's causing this for you but i'll be sure to write clearer instructions for my next aircraft to help aid beginner pilots enjoy my aircraft to their full extent so that this can be avoided if possible. If youd like to share in more detail the issues you are experiencing I'm sure I could fix them.
