The Howard DGA-6 was a large cabin monoplane racer, designed to fly higher (22,000 ft) and faster than contemporary racers, including the Wendell-Williams 44, its main competition. The gamble was a success as it won both the 1935 Bendix (cross-country) and National (pylon) Air Races before crashing in the 1936 races and forever changed how manufacturers designed airplanes. INSTRUCTIONS: Use trim! When landing use 170 mph for approach and a minimum of 15% power for touchdown or you will nose over due to taildragger physics and the small wing. Taildraggers are notoriously difficult to land and in Simple Planes even more so. Enjoy and fly safe!

Cool. @ChiChiWerx
@jamesPLANESii thanks! It's modeled after the original airplane, which had a fully enclosed tailwheel. Big engine + small airframe = fast airplane (for its time). It also flew much higher than contemporary airplanes in order to go farther and faster on cross-country races, which worked in the 1935 Bendix cross-country races (USA).
I like the tail wheel!
Hey, chichi, I finished my v2. Check it out!
@NotYourGrandma I will, standby
Hey nice plane! Please check out my new first plane and tell me if there is any room for improvement.
@Liquidfox thanks!
@ChiChiWerx kk
@Stampede perhaps. I was actually thinking about that one and how to capture the facets. However, let me finish working on the B-24 first!
Can u make F-117/A?
@OldColonel you're welcome! How about all this drama?! I think everyone needs to lighten up and have more fun!
