Back in the late spring of 2016, during the height of the Wright Isles Rebellion, the rebels on Bandit island needed a versatile, multi-purpose warship to land an assault on the mainland. Wolfe Industries quickly got their most skilled engineers on the task. Two weeks into the build, they ran into a problem: "Should we build a bomber, or a fighter?" Some wanted something like a B-17, others wanted something like a P-47. One day, Chuck "Chubbs", the rebellion's sole janitor, (it wasn't a popular job), came up with the solution. "Ya know, we cud jus combine both of dem!" So that's how the Wolfe Industries J-12T "Trident" was born.
Group 1=Takeoff Boost, Group 1+VTOL=landing gear
Group 2= Landing lights
Group 3 and 4 + VTOL and Trim=Swiveling under-belly guns
Group 5= rear and front turret guns
