"From the depths of hell in silence

Flawless vision, undetected"
- Sabaton - Night witches

The aircraft that almost never was; the P-49 Night Witch is an all weather, night heavy fighter/bomber and bomber escort aircraft that from the beginning, was riddled with problems. Initially designed in 1939 as a high speed fighter aircraft, the tri-engined fighter plane suffered from many issues from suspension issues upon landing that would shatter the props to outright engine fires upon startup, the aircraft was almost completely discarded until the second global war broke out and Iosia needed a high speed interceptor and long range bomber escort. The P-49's unique design and engine layout was built for both speed and livability, coupled with a noise reduction during night bombing where the pilot would kill the forward facing engines and then use the power of the center engine to fly over the target with relative silence and be able to restart the main engines with little to no conflict.

The Night witch ultimately became one of Iosia's primary bomber escort and heavy fighters up until the end of the Second Global War and the dawn of Jet engined aircraft.

The P-49L was capable of flight distance that far exceeded it's bomber escortees and was often used to patrol the coasts of Iosia, Nordenvok, and Allied territories of Andosnia. the L variant boasted a modified pylon structure, larger fuel tanks, and lengthened elevators for more mobility for dogfighting.

I tweaked the XML on this to fix some issues in VR. The yoke was not providing full input for roll or pitch so I couldn't fly it in VR. Also, I fixed the compass and airspeed gauges. It's an awesome build and I just want to make sure SPVR players will be able to enjoy this when SPVR launches. If you are unhappy with my changes, let me know and I'll roll the XML back to your version.

@ThomasRoderick Fixed some performance issues, I believe that it should be more... reliable.

@ThomasRoderick so the tough turning and pitch were deliberate due to its sheer size as it's size wise almost on par with them, it's a really heavy fighter, and the engines with ZoD I should have done that, that was an oversight on my end as well as forgetting to fix the drag, I might fix all these issues shortly.

@Tsuchiisan I can see that, never heard of them until recently on my Gavran but it's pretty wild how well these can work.
