Credits to @reCarn for the crazy idea! (Looks ridiculous but it works!)
The XR-1 is an experimental hydrogen scooping engine developed by Orion Foundries Inc. in 3103. It works by collecting hydrogen in deep space, and larger amounts can be collected by flying near stars or nebulas. Its large primary turbine collects the hydrogen, which is then purified in its built-in mini refinery and then pumped into the fusion core of the spacecraft that the XR-1 engine is attached. This engine is still on development phase, and its first prototype is scheduled to be tested by 3113.
