Simple OH-6 Cayuse "Loach" (fixed)

55.9k BMilan  6.7 years ago

The OH-6 Cayuse (often called Loach) is a light transport and scout helicopter. As well as the Huey it was mainly used during the Vietnam-war but its nevest versions are still used today.
This one is now more stable and more easy to control thanks to @EternalDarkness's advices.

Have fun!

@EternalDarkness But to be honest, if you tilt it forward just for a small period of time and the let the helicopter fly forward using that speed the tail doesnt swing forward

@EternalDarkness I tried to put anactual vertical stabilizer on it but it changes nothing, it changes nothing, the tail still tries to swing forward.

@BMilan helicopter needs yaw stability in forward flight just like a fixed wing aircraft. That's probably what caused yaw problem from the start. When helicopter tilts forward, without vertical stabilizer, tail tries to swing forward.

I forgot to check, is vertical stabilizer actual wing piece or structural panel? I can't test it right now.
