Just another sunny afternoon as Flight 443's pilots arrive on the flight deck. "Nice weather today, calm wind, first Captain rank payday, what could be better?" the Captain says to the F/O* "Not much other than my family." The F/O comments. "You got me there bud." The Captain replies as they begin the pre-flight checks.
Silence ensues, just a few switches flipped and buttons pressed as the pilots finish off their checklists.

"V speeds?" the Captain asks, "V-1 is 120, V-R is 152, and V-2 is 165." the F/O replies. "Good, you got the Clearance frequency?" the Captain asks, " yeah, I got it, 121.8." says the F/O.
