Variable Maneuverability Vehicle
A variable maneuverability vehicle, with tiny size not being its first achievement. Here’s the guide:
- Use normal plane controls and your brain. It hasn’t changed much since yesterday or five minutes ago.
- Use VTOL to modify the wing geometry of the plane, and thus the maneuverability.
- Remember to turn off [8] in flight and turn it back on when landing; because [8] controls the gyroscope. Warranty void if you manage to gimbal lock it.
- Consult the following wing configuration table (use VTOL slider)
Minimum Setting: Very stable, but not maneuverable much.
Low Setting: Pretty stable, but it can maneuver around a bit (on the roll axis, mostly.)
Neutral/Default Setting: It’s easy to fly like a normal plane, despite the overpowered roll axis.
Raised Setting: It’s very maneuverable. Don’t try landing like this unless you’re really good!
Maximum Setting: Stability is non-existent. So is maneuverability if you leave it on this setting for more than half a second. You’ll flip along the pitch axis upwards and you’ll point backwards. The tail fin will then try to push you forwards to its own ground state along the yaw axis, but the main wings will have none of it. It may take at least ten seconds to recover from this state.
If you want a gun, then slap it onto the tail fin, so you don’t miss, or hit the main wing on “accident.”
