The North Island Giant Moa, or Dinornis Novaezealandiae was a large species of Rattite that lived in New Zealand until it was hunted to extinction by the Maori about four hundred years ago. The North Island Giant Moa holds the record for the world's tallest bird, with the females standing at four metres tall when they raised their heads up in the air. This is a 1-1 scale model.
