This is the AU-20. It’s a hybrid aircraft. A cross between the A-10 and the SU-25, both planes with a good reputation for doing what they do best… Giving anyone on the ground something to complain about, assuming they’re still alive.
This is the first hybrid out of two with regards to the A-10 and SU-25, the other one (SA-15) is pretty much the same, except it’s got everything swapped around (it has SU-25 like wings instead of A-10 like ones, etc).
This one is thought of as the short range version out of the two. It’s got a lower payload, less fuel and has slow acceleration. However, it’s well equipped to take off at a moment’s notice, due to its lower payload (less time loading weapons onto it) and slightly higher top speed. This means that it can get there faster than its long range counterpart. On top of this, due to its low payload, more emphasis is placed on the fire power in terms of guns. It has two Gatling guns as well as two wing guns.
