Greetings @lewishasnoiq , this is my entry for the challenge. As you gave me the flag of that two nation which is involved at the war, i finally making the roundel/logo for them. And this was the Omenian Republic.
The post was unlisted because i am currently on cooldown for posting, because i have already post three crafts at the same time, as a result, i have to wait until tomorrow or day after tomorrow.

@MrOofington mhm, yep, it's the D variant because the A variant is too darn old and obsolete, even the D variant is entering the decade 80s, as the Teranivo War is taking place between early 80s and late 70s. So that's i'll take than advantage to convert my AI Rotorcraft Mi-24D as the entry since the Mi-24D was like in decade 80s. And i am agree with you that the Mi-24A was really looks like a Goofy Ahh because that boxy-shaped cockpit, not like the common Hind that we know nowadays

As for the AAMs used, they are most likely R-60s (NATO Reporting Name: Aphid). They are IR Guided AAMs used to succeed the shit K-13 (The AIM-9B Ripoff)
I assume that your entry is a D variant since those types entered production in 1973. The common Hind variants seen in the early to late 70s is the A, the ugly goofy looking Hind

And some reminder, this build is still original from me and literally a derivative from my AI Rotorcraft Mi-24D Hind.
To be honest, for me, making a helicopter is much easier than making a fighter jets.
My opinion about Omenia Republic.
In my opinion, Omenia was much similar and resembles as Rogue Nation in Top Gun universe
