ALTV

Definitely been a while since I’ve posted, so yeah. Life’s been busy, but I still get inspiration from time to time. This build’s inspiration was formed from my being voluntold to be the assistant driver for a JLTV that was present at the shooting range as a safety vehicle. It was boring, but I got to be up close and personal with a JLTV high back for a good while, and got to see its physical features.

General Description

After numerous complaints about a lack of a good armoured vehicle for transporting troops, and innumerous requests for such a vehicle, it was decided to make a versatile lightly armoured truck that could be outfitted with numerous kits, weapons, and the like. The Spartan Ballistics R&D department turned out the ALTV, inspired by the real life JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle), made by Oshkosh Defense. Three variants of the ALTV were produced, all within a week of each other. They are the base model, displayed in this post, an ALTV outfitted with the Utility Troop Transport kit, and an ALTV outfitted with the Heavy Guns Carrier kit.
