the best looking biplane on the site!

(Subject to opinion)

history

Production of a highly maneuverable and powerful aircraft, as implored by the U.S. army airforce, started in late 1928 and didn't get completed until late 1933. The pembroke company stood out with a traditional biplane design, while still having an enclosed cockpit, as designated by the contract. The aircraft that came about was very successful, and in the limited action that it saw, it performed very well.

controls

Normal flight controls
Ag1- release bombs
Ag2- open canopy

features

  • Full cockpit, with control stick, throttle, gun sight, gun lever, and yaw pedals
  • working controls surfaces, (only the yaw is custom)
  • custom engine

Builders Note: this aircraft is one of the best that I have ever made! It is one of the more simple but it is amazing in the detail that it has. I tried to incorporate some unique features, and some things that just look cool. I hope you like it as much as I do astro!

@LieutenantSOT crap! I completely forgot about the yaw pedals! Crap. And I wanted to do the moving airalons but I really didn't know exactly how I was going to do it, but now that I'm thinking about it ii have an amazing idea on how to make it work, great.

The foot pedals are weird, but I inverted one of them so they work now 😂
    .
Beyond that, this plane is really cool. It looks simple from the outside, but she has an amazing interior, and I love the moving canopy and flight controls. Great plane.
One thing I wish it had was actual moving ailerons, but other than that, amazing

@Astro12 I will say I have not tested it in dogfight mode, so the guns may be a bit in accurate, I did angle them inwards half a degree.
