Although the Me-262 did not cause difficulties for experienced pilots in mastering it, like any new aircraft, it had its own characteristics. The pilot training program included a 20-hour flight course on twin-engine Bf.110 or Me.410 to familiarize with the control of the Me.262, while using the throttle at high altitude was prohibited. Preparation on the Me.262 before the appearance of its two-seater version provided for two half-hour familiarization flights, three aerobatics flights to the zone lasting one hour, two one-hour flights at altitudes from 4000 to 5000 and from 9000 to 10,000 meters, two hours were set aside for flying off paired and at the end - fire training with shooting at ground targets. This was somewhat reminiscent of the accelerated training of Soviet pilots during the war, which resulted in huge losses of pilots and aircraft. In fact, the future Me.262 pilot was left on his own. Avoiding many mistakes would have been made possible by the appearance of a two-seat training version of the fighter. Development of such a machine began in the summer of 1943. The first version of the layout of the aircraft was presented to the military in September 1943, but the elimination of the customer's comments was delayed until the spring of next year. The decision to build an experimental training version of the fighter-bomber was made on March 2, 1944. The first twin prototype, designated Me.262?-1?, was converted from a pre-production vehicle (serial No. 130 010), which retained its standard armament. It differed from the usual Me.262V-1 aircraft not only in the second cockpit of the instructor pilot. The number of fuel tanks and their total volume on the plane have been reduced. To compensate for the decrease in flight duration, two outboard 300-liter fuel tanks had to be provided. The first spark in November 1944 was delivered to the former "262nd" test team. It was supposed to build 60 training machines, but by the end of the war only 15 aircraf
