Blohm and Voss bv P.170

backstory

It was June third, 1944 and Hitler announced the emergency fighter program. The crumbeling third reigh needed an aircraft that was fast, cheap and easy to build, without losing speed nor firepower. This is where Blohm and Voss came in, with an old blueprint made in 1942. With triple engines used of wrecked FW 190 aircraft, twin 7.5 centimeter cannons used from an old AA instalation and frames of wood, it was a sight to behold. But in the end, this idea wasn't approved. It was shelved in favour of faster jet aircraft. But not in this timeline.

@Monarchii there’s an auto-aim turret in the nose, when the angle is 3 degrees or less it activates the cannons

@Farewellntchii The cannons are there to make a battle more fair, some planes like Wibbleys skydance have set the partColissionResponse to None , Disabling chain explosions and not benig able to catch fire, the use of the cannons is to nulligate the advantages of partcolissionResponse None. Allowing to nulligate armor.

@Farewellntchii a VT fuse is the explosions that follow your aircraft i suppose?

I can make the fuse more inaccurate, so it only hits within one mile.
Way in range for wingguns to compete
i can also remove it i suppose.

@Farewellntchii It is a little bit fictional, the cannons are based on the HS 129 B3. But it was slow, so there were plans proposed for the BV 170 to have something like this.

The system that this plane uses a rack in the main hull with 25- 30 rounds, that also is the reason why the cockpit is so far back. it feeds a rack in wing, with a drum on the end, 5 in the drum, feeds the cannons.
