Pulkovo Aviation Enterprise (Russian: ??????? ???????????????) was a Russian state airline based in the city of Saint Petersburg. It was Russia's third largest airline and the operator of Pulkovo Airport. On October 29, 2006, the merger between it and the also state-owned Rossiya was completed, with the new airline retaining the name of the latter.

Pulkovo Aviation Enterprise Flight 612 was a Russian domestic passenger flight scheduled on August 22, 2006, operated by the St. Petersburg-based airline Pulkovo Aviation Enterprise, flying from Anapa Airport to Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg. . The plane crashed in Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine, near the border with Russia.[1] All 170 people on board were killed.

The Tupolev Tu-154 (Russian: ??-154; NATO designation: Careless[3]) is a three-engine medium-range aircraft for 150-180 personnel developed in the USSR in 1968. The first Tu-154 took off in 1971 and It quickly became a popular aircraft in many of the socialist bloc countries. The last sale of this type of aircraft was made in the late 1990s. However, Tupolev announced in 2006 that production of the Tu-154 is officially ended.
