Role: Airborne Rescue and Disaster Response Unit / AWACS Platform
Model Number: 434
The VTOL capabilities of the StratoKnight make it a perfect airborne unit for the Archipelago Coast Guard, which uses these as large scale rescue craft and mobile triage centers. The cargo bay has been mostly repurposed, serving as a watertight bulkhead for amphibious landings. The large AWACS dish is used as an early warning and communication relay for nearby islands. The dish can track anything from unidentified aircraft, disasters at sea, and weather patterns, as well as act like a relay antenna for communication to and between the islands.
