Airframe Lore

Back in 1967, The Soviet union developed three airframe of a classified VTOL Transport based on the Kamov KA-22, however after a while in 1969, the project was abandoned and the three Airframe (one semi finished, one fuselage only, and one half finished fuselage), it was though at the time that this variation of a larger, and more powerful KA-22 would be effective with the Soviet logistical transport, however by the time one of the prototype is almost finished, the project was cancelled due to Soviet loss at the space race. Now, in storage, all of the fuselage lay dormant in Belarus bone yard until 2009, where a private militaristic corporation known as "Prodigr" bought all three of the fuselage, saving them from getting scrapped (the semi finished fuselage engine has been cannibalized leaving it engineless at this time). However, the story only starts here.

Troubled reconstruction

Prodigr would not start rebuilding the machine until 2010, though however they doesn't know that the reconstruction effort was doomed from the start as they began. Prodigr planned the first semi finished one to be a hybrid of a transport and a gunship, and the second fuselage upgraded with a full on jet engine which later became a bomber. It was a smooth ride until the first major problem roses up, and it's a technical issue which was [CLASSIFIED] though they later on managed to solve it by [REDACTED].

It was doomed from the start.

August 8th 2011, after the Prod-9 Gremlin missile launcher installment, a hole would be cut on the aide of the gunship for weapon mount, they first mounted 125mm T66/24 Mikhail into the side. Though, something unusual would happen during the installation.

12:09PM, it was a smooth ride until [REDACTED] was heard from inside the cockpit, every personnel rushes inside to see what's going on, only to find one of their employee [CLASSIFIED], his [REDACTED] was [CLASSIFIED].

REBIRTH

September 19th 2011, smooth sailing after the incident overall, the weapon system was almost set, the helicopter blade need to be replaced by a new one however. Three employee was tasked to unsecure the two old Soviet blades and do a check on it, however something unexpected happened. As someone we'll call Employee A for now, walked too close near the right blades, without everyone expectation, Employee C turned it on for an engine check. The result was [CLASSIFIED] [REDACTED].

Everyone was evacuated from the hangar as the right side of the aircraft is painted RED, leaving an ominous sight to be seen.

Employee C was promptly fired after the incident, and Employee B was sent to rehabilitation after a shell shocking experience. Some says that the aircraft is haunted, some says that the spirit of [CLASSIFIED] has told Employee C to do it, but the higher up classified it as an employee misshapen, and a new stricter protocol towards aircraft maintenance was applied after the incident.

This was only horrific incident 1 out of 6 after the incident.

Aircraft Lore

The result was the KA-44 "Steel Stallion IV" Nicknamed by ground crews and aircraft crew as "Whale". It is a feared and formidable VTOL Gunship on the battlefield, having multiple weapon system and durable armor, it is a feared aircraft among ground units. Some say that the the soul of [REDACTED] has took control of the airframe, but who knows. Maybe they were right, or the Murphy law applies when it can manifest.

So here's the lore of the craft, quite dark yes but it also implies to the overall like well lore ig. So who knows, maybe it is haunted idk
