Bellmore and Huff F-67 Halberd
The Bellmore and Huff F-67 Halberd was built by the U.S. During the early 1950's to compete with the Soviet Unions jet fighters being built during the early years of the cold war. It was first flown in February 9th 1952. It was highly received by U.S. Pilots due to the ease of flight, speed, and stability. It was later overshadowed by the F-86 Sabre due to its better overall performance and better fuel consumption. The F-67 was phased out by 1956 but was held in high regard by many of it's pilot's.
The F-67 featured an early rudimentary afterburner. (Push forward on VTOL) It was highly inefficient. It was referred to as the "Fuel wizzer" by many unlucky pilot's who ran out of fuel and had to ditch the craft behind enemy lines.
Act1: Lights.
Special thanks to @thealban for the USAF markings.
