World's first operational jet bomber, the Arado Ar 234, nicknamed 'Blitz' (German for 'lightning') was the fastest bomber in WWII. Due to the relatively low numbers produced, they were mostly used as reconnaissance aircraft. According to the few Allied soldiers that encountered it, the Ar 234 was almost impossible to intercept.
This was also the last German plane to fly over London in April 1945 during a recon mission.
For a bomber of its kind, the Ar 234 really is a Blitz. We eighing almost 22,000 lbs fully loaded while carrying at most 3300 lbs of bombs, this jet bomber was able to quickly bomb enemy targets and get away from interceptors fast enough to not be shot down. The range, however, was quite short (only about 1400 km or 970 miles). It could reach a maximum speed of 461 mph.
Just like many other 'Wunderwaffe', the Ar 234 came too late to change the outcome of the war. Few of them have survived and are currently resting in museums all around the world, reminding us of the technological leaps that took place during mankind's most deadly war.
The only special controls are for the bombs (AG 1 and 2). Be careful with it as it doesn't do very well at low speeds. It's also not as agile as a fighter so fly it with care.

Nice work! I really like the wings you made. A more rounded leading edge would look better but apart from that you did an excellent job
smooth
Impressive build! It doesn't look made in SP for same strange reason or the build is much diferente from what i see around here. Well done 👍
