Auto Credit Based on Pilotmario's Bandit F-8C Super Cobra
(1-6) discharges munitions. (7) toggles afterburner. VTOL controls air brakes. Now featuring improved low-speed handling with the addition of an afterburner. With afterburner, it is faster than the F-8C while retaining the maneuverability of the King Charlie. Also includes revised cockpit and improved aerodynamics and electronics.

@FlipposMC
@PyrusEnderhunter What physics setting do you have? I test all mine on "high".
@PyrusEnderhunter Is there a name?
@Pilotmario f-8c no has prob
@Pilotmario an overly complex version of a barrelroll with afterburner and air brakes....
@PyrusEnderhunter Which maneuver in particular?
@Pilotmario when attempting to do a complex dogfight maneuver, I lost contact with pitch controlling. I then spun out of control and exploded.
@PILOTMARIO that's not what I mean..... I meant the thing has a greater chance of structural failure when doing complex maneuvers.
@PyrusEnderhunter It has a new cockpit, afterburners, and improved maneuverability. It's also a bit faster.
You see, when I design fighters now, I aim to establish unstable aerodynamic equilibrium. Think of it like a ball balanced atop a needle.
When I design something like a cargo plane, I aim to establish stable aerodynamic equilibrium. Think of it like the same ball as before, now balanced inside a bowl.
We aim to achieve the former over the latter in fighter design because for the same energy on the ball, you can shift the position of said ball on a needle more easily than a bowl. Likewise, with unstable equilibrium, you can shift the direction of the aircraft more easily for the same energy than if it was stable, and therefore make a more maneuverable aircraft.
Also, I have found that the King Cobra is actually LESS stable than the F-8C
@Pilotmario
What I have found is that there is no difference except for the fact that it has two more interceptors, and has a different name.
Hmm I'll be da judge of dat.
Yes. @DankDorito
@Pilotmario
So is this better than the F-8C?
@Pilotmario Thanks!!!
@GoldenEagle Want this?
@GALM1 Indeed. Your creation has evolved from the substitute standard to the standard aircraft. I really like the design.
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Thanks for noticing! It's been changed.
Oh my god!!!
Missed the t.
Beautiful
Can't wait to see how this goes.
