UF/I - 2 "Agate"
Flight Instruction:
All controls as usual. Throttle up slowly until around 270 kph, landing speed is around the same. Max speed with max afterburner at sea level is around 1300 kph. This plane is essentially reliant on its fly-by-wire thrust vectoring nozzles, so long as the nozzles and the AoA limiters in the front are functional, no maneuver is too extreme, so go wild with those PSMs, the flight computer will take care of the rest. AG8 to toggle thrust vectoring nozzles (not advised to switch off).
Backstory:
Etched onto the stone plaque, above the throne room, in the capital of the Isle of Kronen, reads "Qualitate prae Quantitas." This statement, have long engrained itself into the Kronen military doctrine ever since the middle ages; defeating enemy legions tens of thousands strong with armies of but two thousand.
In the late 60s, faced with another major conflict against the Avalon Republic. Being completely outnumbered, the Kronens did what they had always done, defy all odds through innovation. And thus the Unmanned Fighter / Interceptor was devised as a counter to potential Avalonian strategic bombing raids. It featured 2 Atlanta engines, complemented by afterburners and thrust vectoring, producing a combined thrust of 450,000 Newtons of force, a twin barrel rapid firing autocannon, and a multipurpose undermounted electric coil gun, launching projectiles at excess of mach 8.75.
The associated costs that come with these technologies limited productions to only 78 examples, many lost during testing, and some reserved for further testing. The remaining 65 UF/I-2s were only assigned the most elite pilots, forming the Albatross Interception squadron, the Sparrow homeland defense squadron, the Eagle recon squadron, and the squadron most infamous amongst the Avalon pilots: the Falcon air supremacy squadron, composed of only 3 of the highest scoring aces throughout the war, with a combined confirmed kills of 214 Citrines and later Spearheads.
Announcements:
Oops looks like i forgot to write the description again, but hi guys, UF/I-2 had personally been really fun for me to both work on and fly, it was sort of the plane that I've always wanted to build around a year ago, when i was obsessed with PSMs and supermaneuvrability. I am planning on making ground vehicles for my next build, so stay tuned? Anyways, thank you all so much for your time, take care.
