Designer Description: Eden's Gate (still no relation to the Far Cry 5 Faction) is my own take on a Forerunner starship design, but with a few QoL additions this time around. The main propulsion system has been given a bit of a tune-up, and a few more visual ques have been added. The weapon system is mostly unchanged. It kind of...flew apart when changing it over to the system from my Guardians, so I recycled the parts into something new... (read the Onboard Systems section to see what I mean)
''Lore'' Description: Eden's Gate is a small prototype Forerunner starship intended for mass evacuations of worlds in the path of the Flood parasite, but was constructed too late to be of much help. This vessel is equipped with an experimental technology that would eventually be refined and used in Shield World 006, otherwise known as the installation Sarcophagus. The outer shell of this vessel consists of a small combat cryptum surrounded by a pair of contra-gravity rings. The rings provide the main propulsion of the craft due to power from the cryptum being diverted to maintaining a small slipspace event at its center. This slipspace event, which appears to be only 200 cm in diameter, contains the vessel's inner shell. However, being composed almost entirely of folded space and compressed dimensionality, the inner shell is in fact over 2 AUs in diameter, and contains a massive installation called Eden.
The terrain within Eden resembles an inverted planet's surface, which curves upwards into the horizon until no longer visible. At the center of the installation is an artificial star which provides constant daylight, and can also be used as a power source for the vessel's primary weapon. By channelling high energy particles through a series of accelerator rings (each ring running along the outer surface of Eden) then opening a slipspace portal in the path of the oncoming particle stream, this ship can obliterate objects such as small moons, or even planets with horrifying ease. If that wasn't enough, Eden has several ''Forge Worlds'' in orbit around its artificial star. These planet sized foundries can manufacture swarms of sentinel drones within seconds. These range from the humble Constructor Sentinel to mighty Guardian Sentinel and beyond.
Controls:
Throttle: Overclock Impuse Drive
Pitch/Roll/Yaw: Lateral Drive
VTOL: Increase/Decrease Hover Altitude (Also works when submerged)
Trim: Adjust Vertical Autoaim
AG1: Toggle Impulse Boost
AG2: Toggle Q-Pulse Missiles
AG3: Torsion Driver Mode: Attract
AG4: Torsion Driver Mode: Repel
Onboard Systems:
Impulse Drive: Omnidirectional propulsion drive that pulls on the fabric of space-time, allowing near instant acceleration in any direction. (can be overclocked with Throttle, and boosted with AG1)
Z-9000 Particle Cannon: Ultra-Heavy particle accelerator cannon. Channels high energy particles through a series of accelerator rings over 2 AUs in diameter, then opens a slipspace portal in the path of the particle stream. The black orb you see appear around the vessel is the ''destination'' event, which allows the inner dyson sphere to direct the particles, at speed, into real space.
Q-Pulse Missile: Energy based projectile with enhanced flight characteristics. Creates a localized slipspace detonation on impact. Due to risk of overload, capacitor bank cannot be recharged and discharges below certain water depth. Maximum of 30 projectiles total. Needs line of sight for guidance. Can change targets mid-flight. STAY CLEAR OF BLAST RADIUS!
Torsion Driver: The starship equivalent of snapping a pack of uncooked spaghetti. Torsion Drivers hold enemy vessels in place with artificial gravity beams, then push and/or pull on different parts of their hull until beyond structual limits. This splits the armor, exposing delicate components, and eventually ruptures the hull.
Pulsar Flares: Deployable countermeasure array. Scrambles guidance systems of enemy munitions by channeling slipspace micro-ruptures through the charged hardlight casing. Due to the volatile nature of the device, the smartmatter structure quickly burns away, ionizing atmospheric gases as it travels.
Additional Notes:
The Z-9000 Particle cannon can now rotate more than 360 degrees without rotating back around.
Activating the boost will cause the outer ring to go vertical.
The inner ring will now do full flips when moving diagonally. (a leftover of a scrapped feature)
The HUD has a new assistant....a rather observant assistant....
The Torsion Driver deals 0 damage, but can change the course of any ship on the map. (be ready to dodge incoming flak and/or missiles, this angers the destroyers)
The Torsion Driver has a minimum range of 0.2 miles, anything within this range will not be affected by either mode.
The Torsion Driver can both attract and repel targets simultaneously....to hilarious and also horrifying results.

ohh thats kinda like the mendicant bias laser. ill make sure to add that to the aircraft instructions.
@Zilozite Manually select the weapon in the menu, then hold the fire button until it fires. It will display as having 0 ammo because of the charging sequence.
how does one use the particle accelerator?
