This airplane is an autolanding demo

How to land

  1. Edit the variable "LocSelected" to the location you want (0 for wright, 1 for wright north, 2 for yeager, 3 for bandit, 4 for avalanche, 5 for maywar)
  2. fly to the airport and perform corase approach
  3. Activate 7 and press the button below the cockpit, when the button is pressed down and toggle on, that means you have successfully enter the landing process
  4. lower your speed to 230km/h and half flap down
  5. wait for approach

Porting Guide

There are three variables for control input

  • RollAutoPilot : Roll control surface input
  • PitchAutoPilot : Pitch control surface input
  • ThrottleAuto : Engine control input

And there are also a few variables for state control

  • AutoPilotOn : AutoPilot on
  • AutoThrottleOn : Auto speed control on
  • ToggleAutoLand : variable for button input(interactionType =Toggle)
  • LocSelected : select where to land
  • SpeedSet : fixed speed set

A few parameters also need to adjust

  • GlideAng: Glide Path angle, typical 3deg
  • GlideDistance: valid distance for glide
  • BlankDistance: reserved distance to avoid plane bump into the ground
  • AltOffset: offset for RunwayAltitude
  • PID parameters
