The BBI-24 Hyacinth is a 4.5+ generation semi-stealth carrier-based interceptor aircraft. This aircraft was designed by BuburBakar Manufacturing for Sunda.

Background & development:

The beginning:

In 2019, Rama and Ishikawa experienced a conflict between territorial lines in the Sea of Ryushu which caused the surrounding countries to be affected. The Sunda country, which is worried about this, plans to strengthen its sea and air fleet.

Early development:

In 2018, before the conflict escalated, this aircraft was named project A to replace the Test Projects B which failed production. At the beginning of 2019, a conflict occurred between Rama and Ishikawa, where the Rama wanted to seize the islands around Ishikawa in the Ryushu Sea. As time went by, the conflict increased and involved several surrounding countries. Sunda does not want to interfere and increase its sea and air fleet to maintain sovereignty between surrounding countries, therefore they are working on a 4.5+ generation aircraft project in collaboration with the BuburBakar manufacturing to maintain the sovereignty of surrounding countries.

End of development and beginning of introduction:

At the end of 2019 this aircraft was exhibited at the aircraft exhibition in Ruskovia. This aircraft was originally only generation 4 and lacked stealth capabilities and internal bays. In mid-2020, this aircraft's design was slightly changed by adding semi-stealth features and an internal bay. On October 20 2020, this aircraft made its first test flight.

Early assignment and main squadron:

This aircraft was inaugurated on December 4 2020 and was placed in the "SEA SPADE" squadron which is a proud squadron in efforts to cool the conflict. This squadron always carries out missions successfully without a single plane crashing. At the end of 2023, the conflict subsided and this squadron received the title of Resilience Squadron in Sunda because of its success in carrying out its mission.
