In 1982, Eiro sales were not well. To solve this, Eiro made a general aviaion aircraft known as the Eiro Spiker. Its design resembles that of old military fighters of the 1940's and 50's, before the jet age. This craft sold 5,000 of them. The Eiro Spiker currently is used by the USAF for training, as the other operators (small airlines) went defunct. Take off from yeager!!! This craft needs lots of runway space
