A modified Pathfinder Maritime Patrol designed for use by the Pilotmario Air Force under the Guardian gunship program. Unlike most Guardian gunships, the Pathfinders are outfitted for nighttime strike operations. The Magnetic Anomally Detection boom is recalibrated to detect the spark plugs of a truck engine, and the aircraft is fitted with side-firing weapons, though it retains the missiles. The sonobuoy droppers were retained and simply refitted with "Tent Peg" air-droppable ground sensors. For added endurance, drop tanks were fitted. The most famous action of this aircraft was during the Salamis Point Campaign, where one of these aircraft, callsign "Daisy 021", was called upon to defend the 15th Infantry Division from a concentrated IJ United attack. It did so throughout the night. Despite a shortage of fuel, ammunition, and the coming of dawn that would make the aircraft more vulnerable, the crew decided to continue the mission. They were shot down by an IJ United shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missile, killing 5 out of the 6 crew, the survivor taken prisoner. The bodies of the 5 others were recovered by IJ United forces and given a proper military funeral.
