XF-68-A1 Crucifier
Don't get me wrong. A lot of Russian aircraft on this website are phenomenally well built, but I'm honestly not a fan of Russian vehicles, and it seems like I see more of those on the website than anything else. I'm a bigger fan of anything American, whether real, or fictional, so- as you can tell- I made yet another fictional US aircraft: a supermaneuverable VTOL prototype, dubbed "Crucifier"!
This sleek, beautiful work of art by yours truly has had a lot of time and intricacy put into her looks, functionality and performance. Full throttle without afterburners is just barely shy of Mach 1, but kick on the afterburners, and you'll easily break the sound barrier, even while climbing! Her cockpit is detailed with functionality for both the pilot and co-pilot, and- once activated- she can perform PSM like no one's business, and still maintain plenty of control. But wait, there's more!
She is incredibly fuel-efficient, as well as stable and controllable while hovering, making her easy to land on the USS Beast, even without an arresting hook!
So, what are you waiting for? Take her for a ride! She won't bite, unless you do…
(Disclaimer: Despite me making this VTOL aircraft entirely on my smartphone, she still takes up a lot of performance cost. If you want it on your mobile device, be my guest. Just be ready for any potential lag. Also, everything on my builds are always subject to change, especially for improvements, such as having a hud, weapons and countermeasures.)
Thank you, @GuyFolk for the radar.

@GuyFolk @arcticfox123 @epicfard @TWDDerSharkmarine @IceCraftGaming I've just made the A6 variant of the F-68 Crucifier!
@SkyJayTheFirst
It's indeed look cool.
@GuyFolk there really wasn't an easier way for me to take inspiration from the VTOL part in the F-35 Lightning. Also, I just thought it looked cool.
I guess performance cost is kinda inflated.
But the fact that there are so many parts with calculateDrag = true will always contribute to high performance cost.
Also, heli blades?
Never see that in VTOL before lol.
you're growing.... I'm proud to know you :3
very epic design, bravo
Wow
@TWDDerSharkmarine you can mainly blame the thrust nozzle for that, with all the hinge rotators.
Goddamn, just above 500 parts and the performance cost is that much, im not sure if i should be impressed or concerned
@IceCraftGaming thanks!
also... fastest updoot in da west boi
cool! I just looked at ur posts a while ago and realized you didn't post for quite a while
