Lockheed Navy Advanced Tactical Fighter
(INSTRUCTIONS TOWARD THE END!)The NAFT was a proposal to replace the A-6 intruder and the F-14 Tomcat with an aircraft that had the latest technology in several areas, such as aerodynamics and propulsion. Lockheed's design was an F-22 concept ( this is because it was also competing to build the Advanced Tactical Fighter, the YF-22) with the Tomcat's swing wing design for carrier landings and takeoffs. Due to delays and complications, it was never built and the F/A-18 Hornet ended up being the replacement. Variable Geometry wing is activated by 7 and manipulated through the VTOL slider ( down makes the wings go in, this position is recommended suring flight, but not during takeoff and landing). The six Interceptor missles are activated through 1,2,3,4,5, and 6. In order to simulate a catapult launch from the USS Tiny, go to another airport and actvate the engines at 100 percent and wait about 6-10 seconds. Switch to the USS Tiny and you are ready for takeoff. NOTE, AT HIGH SPEEDS, PRESS KEYS TO MANUEVER REPEATEDLY AND NOT CONTINUOSLY. THIS WILL RELIEVE SOME STREES AND NOT TEAR THE SHIP APART!
