The arado Ar.11 was a early torpedo bomber designed under specification 15/01/TB which called for a light single engined torpedo bomber for use in carrier test and eventual use on the first kingdom of five islands aircraft carrier. In test of the first prototype The aircraft handled very well and the test pilot had this to say “the aircraft was so stable If I closed my eyes I could barely tell I was flying” the stable of the aircraft was seen as a great success, and after evaluation by the air force the aircraft was accepted in to service. The aircraft saw service in my theaters of World War One it was notable for sinking the German dreadnought SMS Helgoland, the Austrian dreadnought SMS Szent István, and heavily damaging the Mexican dreadnought BM oro
