History:
The USS Sanctuary is the first submarine of the new Sanctuary-class. It was an above top secret project sanctioned in 2022, in response to raising political tensions. The largest nuclear powered submarine in the world, it is 1340 feet long, with a submerged displacement of 260,000 tons. Designed with the worst case situation in mind, such as a worldwide nuclear war, the Sanctuary has ample space for the President, Joint Chiefs, and hundreds of other personnel, including the crew. It also has the capability and technology to serve as the NORAD headquarters.
Loosely modeled off of the Virginia-class.
