Overpowering Osprey

480 AMPPL50  7 months ago

The Overpowering Osprey is a rare United States of the Seas landplane. Unlike the carrier-capable Slaying Seagull, this aircraft is a purely land-based interceptor. In this capacity, the Osprey has an astonishing climb rate and a very heavy armament consisting of 4 .50 caliber HMGs, 4 20 mm cannons and 2 25 mm cannons. These characteristics make it an ideal aircraft from defending the USS home islands and continental holdings from bomber attacks and recon flights, being capable of responding on short notice. However, this comes at the cost of having little endurance.

Trivia: this is actually one of my oldest planes. It was initially the Botfly and languished unpublished because of the other heavy fighters leaving me without a clear user.
