Sheer firepower

Ordered by the Erandian government in 1989 to replace the Imperium class heavy destroyers as flagships of the fleet, The Tanager class was designed by Royal Arms corp's Maritime division. Constructed by San Silba shipyards, it was the largest warship ever constructed in Erandian shipyards.

Heavily armed, it boasted a massive arsenal of missiles. However, due to its large size and cost, only 3 were ever constructed:
ERN Tanager (BB-12)
ERN Revenant (BB-13)
ERN Recuscant (BB-14)

In 2017 they were called to return, to be refitted. The 3 Battlecruisers received new bridges, larger weapons complements, Upgrades to Radar and fire control directors, and were equipped to fire the massive AGM-24 Spearhead missile.

Creators note:
this ship was completed some time ago; you can see the design of the original tanager and its 126 cleaver missiles. This is meant to be the post-refit version of the Tanager, and I essentially rebuilt the entire ship from scratch, with new shipbuilding methods I learnt. I hope you all enjoy this ship.
