*In 1944, RLM strated the jet attacker program, in which Messerschmitt, Bölkow, Blohm und Voss and Junkers had participated. Bölkow introduced S.194 triple engined (Jumo 004) attacker for this program. It was capable of reaching 820 km/h on the sea level, carrying 4 tons of payload within the combat range of 500 km. S.194 won the contest and entered serial production in January 1945. 200 S.194 were produced before Third Reich lost the war. They were used to counter American and Soviet offensives.
